Elyzabeth reporting.
Well, it's been two and a half years since I posted on the blog here. A lot of mundane daily slogging through life has been going on, but today I have something exciting to write about.
In just a couple of hours I am leaving on a jet plane, don't know when I'll be back again. Oh babe, I hate to go! Always liked that song for some reason. And in this case, aside from the leaving on a plane part, it's not exactly accurate for my situation. I do know when I'll be back and I'm loving going!
So, today is the first day of my new life in Florida. No more "dry heat". For that matter, no more dry skin. Things I won't miss include rush hour traffic, desert landscaping and August. Seriously, at 120 degrees, I don't care if it's not humid, it's just plain bloody hot! Might as well stick your head in the oven.
Anyhow, it's just a couple hours until takeoff and I need to through a few last minute items in the suitcase. Later!
